This Sankranthi 2023, the films "Veera Simha Reddy" by Nandamuri Balakrishna and "Waltair Veerayya" by Chiranjeevi have dominated Tollywood's box office.
If Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya succeeds spectacularly at the box office in Uttarandhra, particularly on Kanuma Day, "Veera Simha Reddy" will have performed well in Rayalaseema.
In its first four days, "WV" allegedly made around Rs 7.10 crores and Rs 5.5 crores from the Uttarandhra and East Godavari regions, respectively. According to reports, Balayya's movie made over Rs 60 lakhs from the aforementioned areas in addition to doing well in Rayalaseema's B and C centres.
Additionally, Megastar's movie has amassed USD 1.7M at the US box office (Rs 13-15 crores). While Balayya's movie might earn 8.5 to 10 crores by taking in more than 1.2 million USD from abroad.
